Woodlands Athletics
Interscholastic Teams
We have 10 interscholastic athletic teams that are tryout-based and compete against other middle schools in the county. For boys, we have baseball, soccer, basketball, volleyball and track and field. For girls, there is softball, volleyball, soccer, basketball, track and field. We provide a professional coaching staff with decades of sport-specific experience and knowledge.
Our athletic department is proud to boast of past accomplishments including over 86 divisional championships, 32 conference championships, and 18 county championships.

Intramural Teams
We also offer morning intramurals which are open to all levels and abilities.
Our popular Morning Cross Country Running Club is the only middle school cross country team in the county and has earned accolades and championships on the local road running circuit.
Other intramurals such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, track and field are offered.

Try-out times: 4:00-5:30
Transportation home: Take activity bus or parent pickup 5:25 pm in front of school.
Students who met the eligibility packet deadline will be permitted to participate.
Girls Soccer: Tuesday January 6th: All grades
Shorts, t-shirt, shin guards, soccer socks, cleats or sneakers, water
Girls Basketball: Tuesday January 6th: All grades
