Dress Code

Tops

  • Approved:
    • Polo style or t-shirts - long or short sleves only (any color)
    • School sponsored WMS shirts
    • Cover whole torso and undergarments
    • Jackets or sweatshirts
  • Prohibited:
    • NO bare midriff, plunging neckline, muscle tops, tank tops, or backless
    • No see through, sheer or lace
    • NO shirts tied up
    • NO shirts ripped, frayed, cut, torn
    • NO hoods are permitted to be worn on campus or in classrooms

Bottoms

  • Approved:
    • Solid colored shorts
    • Skirts
    • Jeans
    • Pants/shorts must be worn at waist
    • Shorts/skirts must fall at least mid-thigh length
    • Joggers
  • Prohibited:
    • NO sweatpants
    • NO PJ bottoms of any kind
    • NO cut off shorts or jeans
    • NO appearance of skin under pants

Shoes

  • Approved:
    • Must be closed toed and closed heel
    • Loafers, sneakers, or flat shoes
  • Prohibited:
    • NO sandals, crocs, sliders, flip flops, slippers, high heels, open toed shoes of any kind, cleats, steel-toed boots

I.D. Badge & Lanyard (PGSCS Policy 5.0115)

  • I.D. must be worn at all times while on campus and at school sponsored events
  • I.D. May not be altered, broken, or defaced
  • Replacement I.D.'s $5

General Guidelines

  • Non-religious headgear, sunglasses, hats, bandannas must be removed before entering the building (excluding Rx glasses)
  • Cell phones, airpods, headphones, or personal electronics can NOT be out or visible while on school campus except otherwise notified by school-based personnel.

All articles of clothing and accessories MUST NOT:

  • Contain explicit or offensive language or images
  • Contain language or images that depict or promote illegal substances or violent conduct
  • Discriminate against others
  • Not be capable for use as a weapon or cause a safety hazard

The administration does reserve the right to make changes with regard to safety concerns.
